Delete Your Orlio Account

You can request deletion inside Orlio or without opening the app. Identity verification may be required so that another person cannot delete your account.
Delete inside the app
- Open Orlio on your iPhone.
- Open Settings.
- Under Account, choose Delete Account.
- Type DELETE and confirm.
Orlio first asks its server to delete the authenticated account. Only after the server confirms does the app erase Orlio data it controls on the device and in Orlio's iCloud backup location. If a device or iCloud step fails, the app shows a retry screen and does not claim that cleanup finished.
The app removes its local Core Data record, app and App Group preferences, scheduled and delivered notifications, accessible credentials, files in its Documents and cache directories, and Orlio iCloud backup artifacts. Orlio also attempts to revoke its Sign in with Apple authorization when the required Apple credential is available. That revocation is best effort; you can separately manage Orlio under your Apple ID settings.
Delete without the app
Email support@orlio.ai with the subject Delete my Orlio account. Include the Apple email or private relay address used for Orlio and state that you own the account and request deletion. Do not send passwords, identity tokens, API keys, health records, journal content, or other sensitive material.
After identity verification, Orlio can delete server-held account data. An external request cannot remotely erase data stored only on your iPhone or in your personal iCloud Drive, cannot remove device backups you control, and does not guarantee Apple authorization revocation. Remove local copies through the app before losing access, or use Apple's device, iCloud, and Sign in with Apple controls.
Server data deleted
The deletion service transactionally removes the authenticated user row, authentication material, stored Apple refresh credential if present, user-owned voice session and message records if storage was enabled, persona records, session-health records, and related account aliases or locks when those tables exist. A database error returns a retryable server failure; it is not reported as successful deletion.
Information that may remain
- Apple controls App Store transaction and subscription records under Apple's terms. Orlio never receives your payment card details.
- Security, access, billing, and operational logs may remain for a limited period through normal rotation or longer when required for fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or security.
- Encrypted backups may persist until normal rotation and are not restored into an active account except when legally and operationally required.
- Information already saved, copied, or shared by you remains under your or the destination's control.
Orlio does not reuse deleted account content for advertising or sale.
Subscription and questions
Deleting an account does not cancel an App Store subscription. Manage or cancel it in Apple ID Settings → Subscriptions. Apple handles refund requests at reportaproblem.apple.com.
